Boardwalk Inn Transportation

There are many transportation options available at the Boardwalk Inn.

Boat
Guests staying at the Boardwalk Inn can take the Friendship boat to both Epcot and Hollywood Studios. Boats stop at the Yacht and Beach Club Resorts and the Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin so in some cases it is not the most time-efficient transportation option.

Guests can also take the Friendship boat across Crescent Lake to Disney’s Yacht and Beach Club Resort.

Walking Path
Both EPCOT and Hollywood Studios are accessible via a walking path that goes around Crescent Lake. EPCOT is about a 5 minute walk, and Hollywood Studios is approximately a 15-20 minute walk.

Guests can walk to Disney’s Yacht and Beach Club Resorts from the Boardwalk Inn. Simply cross one of the two bridges across Crescent Lake.

Bus
The Boardwalk Inn Bus Stop is located in front of the resort to the left (if you are coming out of the lobby.)

Guests can catch a bus to the Magic Kingdom, Animal Kingdom, Downtown Disney, Blizzard Beach, and Typhoon Lagoon. Most buses make stops at other resorts so plan accordingly.

Also it can be key to remember that the most direct bus won’t necessarily get you to your destination quicker, especially during peak times.

Monorail
While there is not a monorail that leaves from the Boardwalk, guests can still take the monorail from EPCOT to the Transportation Center and the Magic Kingdom.

Remember that when you walk to EPCOT or take the boat it will take you to the back entrance of the park in the World Showcase so you will have to use a ticket to get in the park (i.e. if you don’t have a parkhopper or an annual pass this will mean your ticket will only be good for EPCOT that day!)
